• It is that time of year again when the CVMC is searching for the new fabulous  members of our upcoming steering committee year. Always wanted to get more involved in the CVMC? Want to share your thoughts and help build and strengthen our great community? Want to meet new moms and expand your mommy network ? Joining the CVMC Steering committee is a great way to do all of that. 

  Take a look at the Committee Positions and sign up NOW. The next steering year starts in November. This is the time to start thinking about it and get involved. 

   
• Our online forum will be moving from Yahoo Groups to findsmithGROUPS. Please watch your emails for updates.
  
  
• CVMC will now have general meetings every other month. CVMC socials will occur on the off months starting this month.

Who Are We

The Castro Valley Mothers Club (CVMC) provides a supportive community to mothers with children of all ages, as well as expectant mothers. The Club emphasizes kinship among members, friendships, a nurturing environment, positive role models, and sharing of resources. We offer opportunities including playgroups, family activities, as well as monthly meetings and a newsletter.

The CVMC is classified as a non-profit social organization under section 501 (c)(7) of the Internal Revenue Service, as such the club is organized exclusively for pleasure, recreation and other similar non-profitable purposes.

General Meeting Information

The CVMC meets on the second Tuesday of every other month at Canyon Middle School located at 19600 Cull Canyon Road in Castro Valley, from 7:30 - 9:30 PM. Interested moms (or moms to be) are welcome to attend one meeting as a visitor unless noted otherwise (see Meetings page for more information). All membership forms and information are available at the meeting or online. Refreshments are provided.
